Moreland Algorithmic is automated MT5 and cTrader software built for prop firm challenges. Once connected to your challenge account, Moreland handles trade execution using predefined rules and built-in risk controls. Moreland includes controlled execution randomisation so customers using the same Risk Model are not simply generating the exact same trade pattern at the exact same time.Entry timing and selected protective levels can vary within predefined limits, creating natural account-to-account variation while keeping the underlying strategy, risk controls and trading logic unchanged. In simple terms, Moreland keeps the system consistent without making every customer account look mechanically identical.This is designed to reduce identical deterministic execution patterns across Moreland accounts, while still operating within the rules of the selected prop firm.

No trading system can guarantee a successful challenge. Moreland is designed to automate the process and remove emotional decision-making. Eligible packages are protected by our Pass-or-Refund policy if the challenge does not pass, subject to the guarantee terms.

If an eligible challenge fails while being operated within the Moreland rules, the covered Moreland fee can be refunded. The £15 Setup & Activation fee is non-refundable, and the prop firm’s own challenge fee is not covered.

Most customers can connect their challenge and activate Moreland in around 5 minutes. Your dashboard provides the required account details, licence access and setup guidance.

No. Moreland handles the trading automatically once it is connected. You do not need to choose entries, exits, stop losses or position sizes yourself.

If you want to remain eligible for Pass-or-Refund coverage, you should leave the challenge account to Moreland and avoid manual trading or altering its trades.

Moreland is designed for fresh, untouched challenge accounts. The system checks the account when it is first activated before trading begins.

Moreland trades Step 1 first. Once Step 1 is completed, your dashboard updates and you connect the new Step 2 cTrader account. A fresh Moreland licence is then issued for the second stage.

Moreland detects the completion of the relevant challenge stage, updates your dashboard and stops trading that stage. For a 2-Step challenge, you are then guided through Step 2. After the final stage, the challenge is marked complete.

No. You purchase your prop firm challenge directly from the prop firm. Moreland charges only for the Moreland software package and setup.

To test the system across different market conditions, Moreland was simulated from the beginning of each calendar month, creating 19 separate historical challenge starts rather than relying on one single backtest start date.The Low Risk Model reached the illustrative +10% target in all 19 out of 19 historical starts, with an average completion time of 53.7 days.    The Medium Risk Model reached the +10% target in 18 out of 19 historical starts before the modelled loss limits were breached, with an average successful completion time of 30.1 days. That means the models were tested from 19 different starting points across changing market conditions, rather than being judged from one favourable starting date.These are historical simulations only and do not guarantee future challenge results.

Low Risk is designed to prioritise drawdown control and consistency, using lower risk per trade. Medium Risk uses higher risk per trade to pursue challenge targets more aggressively, which historically resulted in faster completion but significantly higher drawdown. Neither model removes the risk of losing a challenge.

Across the 19 historical rolling challenge starts, the Low Risk Model averaged 53.7 days to reach the illustrative +10% target, with a median of 39.8 days. The Medium Risk Model averaged 30.1 days across the successful historical starts, with a median of 20.3 days.These results show the trade-off between the two approaches: Low Risk prioritises drawdown control and consistency, while Medium Risk is designed for faster progression with higher risk.Historical simulation only.
